Typically you send just the dial, and a drawing or phot of what it's supposed to look like and what color.
No matter what anybody says there is no such thing as somebody who will modify a dial or print just a parts. They're all stripped of paint when the come in the door.

The best for black dials, famous for not getting the printing straight, but when they do get it right they're superb.
