The Quick Stop in Eldorado, down the road from me looks like it's the oldest contunuously operating gas station in Canada. The only older ones I can find are ones in the US; one is from 1922 and claims to be the oldest, another is from 1909 and also claims to be the oldest.
So, the quick stop in Eldorado, Ontario is probably the olsest gas station in Canada, opening in 1919 at least based on a dated photo; it was possibly open prior to that. Anybody who knows any older gas stations in Canada should drop me a line! rjs - may 16 2008
